Do you work on all brands?
We work across the major precision-farming brands: John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Trimble, Ag Leader, Raven, Topcon, Precision Planting 20|20 and others. If we can't help with a specific unit, we'll tell you upfront.
How do I get my unit to you?
We collect around Himeville, Underberg, Bulwer and Kokstad, or arrange a courier from anywhere in South Africa. We'll send you packing instructions.
How much will a repair cost?
Faults vary a lot, so the unit is assessed first and you get a quote. Nothing is repaired until you approve it.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the fault and on parts. We'll give you an estimate with the quote and keep you updated.
Is a repaired unit guaranteed?
Repairs carry a workmanship warranty. We confirm the terms with your quote.
Is it worth repairing an old screen?
Often, yes, especially when new units are expensive or no longer sold. If a repair doesn't make sense, we'll tell you.
Guidance, RTK & radios
Is RTK available in my area?
Our local base-station network starts as a pilot in the Himeville/Underberg area. Elsewhere, satellite RTK (coming soon) is the option. Ask us about your farm.
Will autosteer fit my old tractor?
Electric steering-wheel systems suit most tractors, including older models. Send us the make, model and year and we'll advise what fits.
Are your radios legal?
Sthal is applying for ICASA radio dealer registration and will only supply ICASA type-approved equipment. We can also help you apply for your farm's frequency licence.
Tuning & products
Will ECU tuning affect my warranty?
It can. We'll discuss warranty and insurance with you before any work, and your original file is always backed up.
When will the Sthal modules be available?
The hour meter, USB data uploader and seed monitor are in development. Register your interest to hear first or join a field trial.
